How I work
Design used to involve building things, and for me it always has. I treat code and AI as materials, using them to explore direction, develop intuition about a problem space, uncover constraints, and make better decisions about what to ship and why.
I work closely with PMs, engineers, and leadership. Prototypes are my primary artifact of alignment. I like to make things real that people can poke at, not specs or decks to debate. What matters is seeing how an idea feels.
I pick the right tool for the moment, whether that's Figma, code, or AI. The goal isn't to produce artifacts faster, it's to make decisions earlier. A good prototype can sell a vision, validate a bet, or kill an idea before it gets expensive.

Background
Growing up, I took apart perfectly good toys and reassembled them with duct tape and a prayer. I make things with code now, which isn’t so different. It’s still about creativity, constraints, and occasionally hoping it doesn’t fall apart.
I studied Computer Animation, Art, and English in college. I discovered the web while there and never looked back.
I live outside Nashville, TN with my family. I occasionally build story-based video games that dozens of people have downloaded. When I'm not doing that, I play guitar and mandolin. The supervise.
